Windom Area Health Medical Building Opens

Congratulations to our client, Windom Area Health, on the opening of their new medical building in Windom, Minnesota.

Windom Area Health desired to establish a Regional Center of Care to better serve Windom and the surrounding communities in southwest Minnesota. The goal of this project was to centralize services to meet the community’s needs closer to home, and respond to increasing patient volumes and exceeding capacity.

This project included the construction of a new 52,000 SF building and remodel of 4,700 SF connecting hospital space. The new medical building  expands specialty and partner clinic services with a clinical addition, enhances wellness opportunities and optimizes patient convenience.

The new building houses Sanford Health Clinic, Windom Area Health Specialty Clinics, a third-floor shell space to accommodate future growth, and a fourth-floor Wellness Center available to all community members.

The expansion demonstrates continued healthcare collaboration with the City of Windom and healthcare partners within the region, and enhances Windom’s ability to be an advocate for community health and wellbeing.
