F&C Top Projects: Wings Financial Credit Union Headquarters

Wings Financial Credit Union Headquarters was selected as one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2020, recognizing Minnesota’s top design and construction projects for the year.
Projects are judged for their degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts.

Location: 14985 Glazier Avenue, Apple Valley
With a desire to enact meaningful change in their workplace by breaking the norms of traditional financial services design expectations, Wings partnered with Pope Architects to plan and execute a multi-phase renovation. When complete later this year over 60,000 sq. ft. will have been impacted, including workspace, amenities, and branding elements on all seven floors.
Recognizing that hardworking employees are an integral part of their continued success, Wings embarked on this renovation in part to demonstrate their vested interest in making a positive impact on the employee experience. By blending architectural elements with updated finishes, new furnishing, and integrated technology, the Wings workplace now has improved flexibility, interdepartmental collaboration, and an abundance of employee choice.
The reimagined headquarters and Wings’ continued investment in its workplace demonstrates their culture as a transparent, member- and community-focused organization that supports innovation, collaboration, and employee success.
