Mille Lacs Health System Expansion is taking shape

Imagine. Build. Transform. Mille Lacs Health System’s $30 million expansion project — Next Chapter: Building Our Healthy Future — will improve and impact healthcare for years to come in central Minnesota.

The two-story expansion will bring much needed updates to the Acute Care inpatient rooms, improving patient experience, enhancing privacy and providing better equipment. The Emergency Department will be expanded and renovated to enhance patient privacy and staff support spaces. The 1956 original kitchen and cafeteria will be completely updated to improve food service and dining opportunities for patients, visitors and staff.

It is exciting to see all of the planning, visions and hopes come take shape! Construction is anticipated to be complete by late summer 2022.
