Summit Orthopedics Expands to Serve Patients with a New Lakeville Clinic

Summit Orthopedics is expanding its footprint in the Twin Cities with a new specialty state-of-the-art orthopedic care clinic in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Summit Orthopedics, MSP Commercial and The Excelsior Group partnered on the new clinic which will serve Lakeville and the surrounding communities in the South Metro.

Pope Architects is collaborating with the group on the design of the core and shell exterior and interior tenant improvement of the clinic. MSP Commercial is the building’s developer, owner and property manager, and The Excelsior Group is the real estate advisor. These companies have a successful collaborative history with Summit Orthopedics. Recent projects include Landmark Surgery Center in Woodbury in 2019 and the nearly 70,000 sq. ft. ambulatory surgery center and clinic in Eagan in 2017.

The new 25,000 sq. ft., two-story building is designed for a hospitality-based patient experience, and combines advanced subspecialty orthopedic, sports medicine, spine care, and OrthoQUICK walk-in orthopedic urgent care. It also includes a procedure suite for therapeutic joint injections, regenerative medicine, imaging services, and physical and hand therapy.

Summit Orthopedics anticipates seeing its first patients in January 2022.
