Pope Architects names 4 new Firm Principals

Pope Architects is pleased to announce the addition of four new firm Principals and stockholders to the firm. They are Gonzalo Villares, Sandra Buehler, Rob Howard, and Greg Woollums.

We all look forward continuing on our reputation of building relationships, and delivering excellent customer service and quality design well into the future,” said Ward Isaacson, AIA, President of Pope Architects.

  • Gonzalo Villares is Pope Architects’ Commercial Team Leader and Director of Operations, and has been with the firm for 12 years. He manages staff resources and client relationships, and oversees projects in corporate office, industrial, retail and mission critical efforts.
  • Sandra “Sam” Buehler is the Director of Finance and has been with Pope Architects for over 17 years. She leads the company’s finance and human resources department.
  • Rob Howard is a Senior Project Designer and joined Pope Architects in 1994. For nearly four decades Rob’s career has focused on a variety of project types including commercial, senior living, multi-family housing and retail.
  • Greg Woollums is a Senior Planner/Architect on Pope Architects’ housing team and has spent over 37 years working in the senior housing market. Greg was the lead architect and project manager on the AIA Design for Aging award winner The Cottages at Hearthstone senior community in Pella, Iowa.
